Hi,

in production it might happend, that a product with its
bom materials dependent on the batches of this
materials, not only of the material references.
Therefor i used the attribute set. But the 'Order
Receipt & Issue' ignores the several existing attribute
set instances and process by means of the product id
only. That behaviour causes a logical fault in assuming
that exactly the material, associated with its specific
attributes, is the real bom product, not the less
detailed reference of the material itself.

The support of this feature would be a great help. Thanks.

Regards
Gunther

I've checked out a first solution for this. The inventory is
booked right now (using the attached class), dependend on
    the products attribute set instance.
But there's still a problem. The quantities in the "Order
Receipt and Issue" still references only the product
quantities, means that all inventory of a product is
displayed there. Therefor the responsible database functions
    need to be adapted.

    Hi guntherhoppe!

Unfortunately the attributes are not implement yet, if you
can advance with them it will be very usefull, if you need
more help please tell me about that. Another possibility is
    you to sponsor the development

    Cheers
    Victor

The funtionality shoul be this: You set the attributes in
the BOM and they are copied into the MO. When you issue the
components the system should take the attributes from the MO
looking for the inventory availbale which make match with
    the attributes.

A more complex functionallity is to take the attributes for
    material planning

    cheers
