EasyCmd (Easy Command) is a program designed to help make using the command-line simpler, easier and faster. EasyCmd allows you to save your commands into a database, you can then choose a command by category and run the command and see the results without leaving the program.

Usage

After downloading EasyCmd, you need to extract the .rar file. The rar file contains an executable. When you run the program for the first time, a database will be generated. At first the database will only contain one command (Network > ipconfig), but you can add more commands using File > New. Adding a new command is simple, just type in a name (shown in the commands menu), a description (this will be shown in the status bar, so shorter is better), a category to file it under, and whether or not it needs admin elevation to run (checked means yes and unchecked means no). After accepting the New dialog, you will find your command has been added to the 'Commands' menu.

Running a command

To run a command, simply go to the commands Menu, choose the category you want and then select the command you want to run. After clicking the command, it will automatically be run and the results will be shown in the main text box on the program window.
You also have the option to run a custom command (this is good for running a command with arguments). To do this you just type your command into the text field at the top of the program window and press ENTER or click the 'Run' button.

Copying a command

You can copy a command to your clipboard by going into the File menu and choosing copy. You will then see a dialog telling you to select the command you would like to copy. Simply go to the Commands menu and choose the command you want to copy, the command will not be run, but will be copied to your clipboard so you can paste it.

Deleting a command

This works in the same way as copying a command, just choose Delete from the File menu and then select the command you would like to delete. You will be asked to confirm your deletion. Deleting entire categories is not yet supported.

Editing a command

To edit a command, select File > Edit and then click on the command you would like to edit. After clicking the command, you will see the New command dialog, but with all of the fields filled in with the commands details. You can freely edit these to change the command and it's information.
