Hey, I added a branch for the release candidate of version 0.2 to the branches subdirectory in SVN. I already did some tests on it, but would like to ask you to check it out yourselves as well, to make sure it really has already reached release quality at this state. After updating your local copies of the repository, you can create a source distribution by invoking python setup.py sdist in the RC directory. Copy the resulting package to some place in your filesystem (or better even: to some other computer) and install it from there to see whether it is complete. Give it a few tests and tell me your results afterwards. Actually I do not expect too many glimpses, so I believe we could possibly release it tomorrow. Karsten, your current work will be released together with version 0.3, which we might release quite soon (think about a few weeks, to let the code mature). So please give me some feedback as soon as you checked it out. PS: I will send you the current state of the RC-Package via private communication. Kind regards, Jonas. |
