I happily announce the immediate availability of version 0.2 of ClusterViz! You can get it from the Sourceforge project's site at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/clusterviz/ Or go directly to the downloads at: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=154324 After some weeks of testing to make sure all edges of the release are smoothed out we are now proud to present the next release of ClusterViz. The most prominent new feature in this release is the ability to visualize clustering processes on high dimensional data that are not restricted to three dimensions any more. While the clustering process works on the full dimensionality of data, you can just use the first three dimension to visualize the process, or choose a set of up to three dimensions to display. You can even specify a NxK matrix where N is the dimensionality of your data and K <= 3 to project your data down to at most three dimensions using a linear transformation. We have also updated the example data sets so that you can immediately try out the new features. As a side note, there are two scripts included to generate three or four dimensional Gaussian data if you want to make up your own test data sets. Make sure to give us some feedback if you like it! Of course, we would also like to hear from you if you have ideas for improvements or should you have any issues with it. Have fun! Kind regards, Jonas Maaskola. |
