[ClusterNFS-Devel] rpc.mountd and translate-names

Hi,

one if the things I still don't understand is why mountd also has support for 
name translation (I'm not common with nfs details, but I thought it's only 
necessary for allowing the client to mount a directory). Furthermore, I think 
I ones tried if it works. when nfsd name translation is disables and I 
believe to remember that it didn't work.

And can anyone give me a list of literature citates that describe NFS?
