I wouldn't worry too much about classifying it as production or
non-production.  The real question is, does it do what you want it to
?  

I think it is close to production, although there are still bugs I
think.  (I'm trying to track one down now.)  I just ran it in valgrind
and saw some memory errors.

If someone asks you "should I use it ?  Is is production quality ?"
Tell them to try it and see . . .
