Hello! I was hoping someone could help me with the issue I'm having. My Clonezilla server is unable to image a new laptop that I have and is stuck at the 'Loading initial ramdisk initrd.img...' and then it completely freezes. I have found a post with the exact issue from 2021, but the user was able to resolve it by going with the Clonezilla lite. I have tried all of the available images from https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php (all of the AMD64 and i686 where available) and nothing works. Please help!

Same issue as:
https://sourceforge.net/p/clonezilla/support-requests/155/

The BIOS settings on the client machine are as follows:

DELL Precision 3561:
UEFI boot only
ipv4
integrated NIC enabled w/PXE
SATA operations AHCI
TPM Security Off
Secure Boot disabled

How did you try all of the available images from https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php ?
Please describe in detail and show us the error messages so that it's easier for us to help you.

    Hello,

I have downloaded the .zip, extracted the files, copied the filesystem.squashfs, vmlinuz, and initrd.img onto a usb and moved them to my clonezilla server's /tftpboot/nbi_img/ directory. I tried this one by one with each of the clonezilla live releases available.

The initrd.img from zip file is not really for PXE booting. It's used for live media (CD/USB flash).
Have you tried Clonezilla lite server?

If it works, then the corresponding files under /tftpboot/nib_img/ should work for you, too.
