#155 Ramdisk Clonezilla-live-initrd.img Freezes - client PXE boot over IPv4

Hey, I was wondering if you could help me. Just discovered Clonezilla server after using the USB version for a year! I've followed the steps and made a server, but my Dell XPS 13 9310 shows 'Loading initial ramdisk Clonezilla-live-initrd.img...' and then it completely freezes and doesn't do anything.

It mean so much if you could help find a fix for this issue, I'm really new to Linux and spend hours trying to Google and fix the issue, but it's no luck. Any help would be much appreciated! I've attached some photos of the error as well.

Note: I did try changing my boot menu to different settings on the Dell, like AHCI/RAID on/off, secure boot off, PXE Boot over IPv4 etc, but the error is always the same. I have a feeling this is something to do with the DRBL/CloneZilla server, maybe I need to change a configuration file somewhere?

Which version of Clonezilla live did you use?
Please try to use different versions, e.g., 2.7.2-25 or 20210428-hirsute:

Hey Steven,

I used the server version because I want to use it on a Debian server - it was stable releases - 2.5.1-16 from https://drbl.org/download/

Can I use a later version of Clonezilla Live on a server, I thought I would need the server edition, although the server edition is based on a Debian Sid repository of 2016?

Sorry - Just to confirm, I'm using Clonezilla Server Edition using the DRLB link in https://clonezilla.org/clonezilla-SE/

OK, you use Clonezilla SE. Two options:
1. Test Clonezilla live (USB or CD) on the client machine first, and if it works, use this mode:

2. Give unstable DRBL a try.

Is there any chance you can break this down on what I actually need to do - I'm new to linux and I don't understand what to do, I think I have followed all the steps, but where is the GUI interface like the server edition for the live version on Linux? I think I've gone through like 20 steps but I can't find out

I was hoping to just have a server with my images on so computers can just boot using PXE over IPv4 and get imaged, but I don't think it's going to work, I don't really use Linux commands and liked Clonezilla for the easy interface.

Is there any way we can have the DRBL LIVE version (Clonezilla Server Edition) running a more recent/latest version of CloneZilla? It has the Clonezilla Lite and server desktop icons and it's just so much easier

Update Clonezilla live LITE server works, so I literally just need an updated version of clonezilla live for the server version
