I used alternative stable - 20170905-zesty, from a new Dell Optiplex all-in-one and all restores fails with either:
read error: no data available
Part clone fail: please check /var/log/partclone.log !
pigz: skipping: <stdin>: corrupted — Invalid deflate data (invalid stored blocks length)
pigz: abort: internal threads error
or
find: 'tmp/efi_sys_part.wHbe4I/EFI/': No such file or directory
find: 'tmp/efi_sys_part.wHbe4I/EFI/': No such file or directory
find: 'tmp/efi_sys_part.wHbe4I/EFI/': No such file or directory
EFI boot file in partition /dev/sda1 7 was NOT found. Program terminated!!
I posted the description of the issue at this thread but so far no reply.
This is defintely related to UEFI. Win 10 came installed with Secure Boot enabled, so I installed Fedora 27 with Secure Boot enabled. The source machine dual boots no problem via a grub2 menu. After a restore grub2 disappears and only the Windows Boot Manager appears. This seems like a common problem. Boot-Repair-Disk failed with errors posted here.
If I made a small donation would that help escalate this or at least provide a fix?
Duplicated post. Let's focus at thisn one:
