[Clonezilla-live] Linux Raid1 partitions?

Should clonezilla be able to clone a disk where the partitions contain
one member of a Linux RAID1 md device?  When I tried, it recognized the
underlying copy of the ext3 filesystem (which is also sort-of right) but
did not duplicate the raid superblock so the copy wasn't recognized at
boot up.  I was hoping to be able to clone one disk, then be able to
rebuild the mirror setup after the copied machine was running.
