Two points, if you mean:
1. There is no network card detected, then you can try alternative 
Clonezilla live, e.g. Clonezilla live 20100921-maverick. If you are 
lucky, then maybe your NIC will be detected.
2. If you mean no IP address, netmask for your NIC, then, of course, you 
have to configure the network settings by yourself. Either to use 
ifconfig/route command to make it, or you can use the program 
ocs-live-netcfg on Clonezilla live to configure that.
