[Clonezilla-live] smb authentication

Clonezilla Lucid
Image repository on Iomega Home Network drive, a simple NAS appliance running an embedded samba and ftp server. 

The drive provides two forms of samba authentication: full guest/no auth & password only. 

I can connect to the shares with win7, Ubuntu Linux, and Mac OS 10.6, i.e. everything I have, but clonezilla. 

Clonezilla refuses to mount a samba share to /home/partimage unless I provide a username. 

Can someone provide a work around, an older version of clonezilla, a bug report?
