[Clonezilla-live] Intel 82557/8/9/0/1 Ethernet Pro 100 (rev 10) networking card no longer supported?

Dear all.

Using Clonezilla 1.2.3-27, the Intel 82557/8/9/0/1 Ethernet Pro 100 (rev 
10) refuses to come up.

Error message in console when trying to bring it up:

Requesting e100/d102e_ucode.bin
e100_request_firmware: failed
SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory

When using Clonezilla 1.0.9-10, the network card works without a hitch.

Anybody an idea what happened?
