Hi, I made an image of /home partition of Ubuntu installation about 3 months back using Clonezilla-Live CD (Jaunty-12082009), the original partition size of /home was 35 GB (about 10 GB used, 25 GB free). After that I shrunk the /home partition from 35 GB to 22 GB. Now, when I try to restore the /home partition using the same version of Clonezilla-Live CD, with default options, it gives an error message that the destination partition is smaller than the source (the image should fit into the re-sized 22 GB partition, since the data size is only 10 GB and only used blocs are imaged). Is there a way to override this error message? I tried to look in the advanced option of Clonezilla, but there is no option for this. Thanks, Jay |
