I all, I come from an hard debian intallation on external usb hard disk, and I wanna clone the usb disk content to avoid redoing further installation... On my locale hd I have windows vista , partitions hda0 (SO) and hda1(recovery), while on my usb hd I have lenny in partition sdb1 and sdb5(swap). I have read the sample from the site but there are some things not clears and that I would understand before committing mistakes. 1. Can I clone the Usb drive? (in the example only locale drive are mentioned) 2. Can I save the clone image in vista partition (hda0)? If so, can I be sure windows data are not overwritten? thanks all |
