Yes. This morning I tried the release 20090716-jaunty, and it does the
same thing.
To be more specific, I usually use the option to have the Windows name
changed based on the MAC address of the machine. I believe that it's
option h1? It worked with earlier releases, but does not seem to work
with the jaunty releases.
