Update: I'm still using the SysRescCD/Clonezilla live CD - and still getting the kernel dumps. I'm able to complete the copy without problems in "no framebuffer" mode Weird thing is, I looked around for /var/log/messages - and it's not there.. so I can't really send over a copy of the trace Steven Shiau wrote: > Looks like this is kernel problem.
