Another approach is to use the testing/unstable clonezilla live: http://clonezilla.sourceforge.net/download/nchc/testing/ http://clonezilla.sourceforge.net/download/nchc/experimental/ 1.0.9-18 or 20080306b-hardy. And run makeboot.bat in windows to make your usb flash drive bootable. Those releases contains the latest syslinux (3.62) and it supports kernel in the subdirectory. WARNING!: ***DO NOT RUN*** makeboot.bat from your local hard drive! It should only be run from your USB flash drive. Executing it incorrectly could cause your MS windows not to boot!!! If you want to use syslinux on linux to make your usb flash drive bootable, remember to use syslinux 3.35 or later. Steven.
