First, I want to say that Clonezilla rocks! The testing version is a great product. With that being said, it seems like ntfs-3g was accidentally not included on 1.0.3-15. When I use 10.0.3-6, I can mount with no problems. When I tried 1.0.3-15, the command can't be found. When I tried to find it from the root of the live filesystem, it couldn't be found either. Maybe it's just me. Can anyone confirm? Thanks, GS |

Hi Gary, Thanks for reporting this bug, yes, I confirmed that. My bad... Due to ntfs-3g is not included in stable Debian 4.0, and I forgot to put another branch when creating Clonezilla live. I am working on another minor bug, and will release another testing version with this ntfs-3g bug free asap. For the time being, you can try: 1. boot the Clonezilla live 1.0.3-15 2. enter shell 3. edit /etc/apt/sources.list, append live-testing like this: deb http://free.nchc.org.tw/drbl-core drbl stable live-stable live-testing 4. apt-get update 5. apt-get install ntfs-3g Then I think you will have a working ntfs-3g to use. Steven,
Thanks for the quick response. I kept the cd I have of 1.0.3-6
which works just fine for me. I'm doing "offline" cloning using a USB
hdd.
I'll keep an eye out for the next release.
Once again, thanks for the great "ghost" alternative.
