I need to copy files from a ntfs formatted hd to a ntfs hd. What tool should i use? Note: I only need to copy files and directories, not making disk image TIA -- Regards, Umarzuki Mochlis http://gameornot.net |

Sorry, Clonezilla is an image tool. Therefore it can not copy files only for you. I think you can use ddrescue/gddrescue to dump the partition as an image file, then mount the image file to copy that. Steven. You might want to use some other linux live CD, such as Knoppix, Insert, or System Rescue Cd. Steven Shiau wrote: > Sorry, Clonezilla is an image tool. The packages I mentioned are also included in Clonezilla live. Therefore you can either use Clonezilla live, or what Bill mentioned, i.e. Knoppix, Insert, System Rescue CD... Steven.
