I am trying to restore a primary partition (Windows) onto a blank drive from a full image created with (3 partitions). I only want to restore the main Windows partition and the boot record.  When I attempt to restore the sda1, Clonezilla generates an error no unmounted partitions are found. If I manually create the partition, then I can load it.

What I want Clonezilla to do is read the partition size from the image, create it, add the MBR, but not care that I do not want to restore sda2 or sda3.

How would I do this?

perhaps you want to try rebuilding the ms partition table with ms-sys before doing it with clonezilla
