To explore the network, you can use the NetBIOS protocol (Samba supports it).
For example: you come to choose: either the selected user - enter the full path of sharing - or is - Network Explorer.
That is to say when the user selects this option, a NetBIOS resolution is operated and the user can select the server from the list provided by the NetBios. Then he can choose the share name and path. All through the NetBios.
This is best explained ?

But I was not thinking about a command line as smbclient or mount. Rather a kind of accessability.
For example, I work in a company where there are many students and training is express. And I saw that the most common problem was remember all paths cifs share.
So to avoid having recourse to the Middle Ages, ie paper and pencil, it would be nice to be able to choose for example : network explorer and then the user can scroll through a list of servers etc..
I noticed that users get better remember.
What do you think?

Oh, got it. Using smbclient it's possible to do that.
Steven.
Hi Steven,
Thank you for your answer but I know smbclient.

I believe this should be done in GUI... not TUI environment. It will be more appropriate.
Thanks.
Steven.
OK.
Thanks for your answer.
