    Hello friends,

First, everything is fine, I boot on my USB key and go on until I arrive at the list of hard disks and partitions where Clonezilla does not find the internal hard disk of my computer :( it is precisely the one I want to clone, I restarted Windows and remove the protection on the hard disk C:\ I redid the manipulation 3 times but still nothing, Clonezilla unable to display the internal hard disk (and its partitions), it can only find the partition on the USB stick. I'm disgusted .. Could someone please help me !

Does this mean that Clonezilla does not take into account recent computers ? I used to work with Clonezilla, I never meet such a problem.
I look forward to your return and thank you for your support.

Have you tried the latest testing Clonezilla live 2.6.5-19 or 20200224-focal?
They come with newer Linux kernels so might support your hardware better.

Of course, I use the latest version I donwload straight from Clonezilla website https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php

I have already cloned 3 hardrive/partitions, they were a little bit old by the way (the newest one was made in 2016)
This time I tried to do exactely the same thing with a new computer made in 2019, Clonezilla cannot show the internal hard drive, The laptop is very thin, the hard drive looks like the the RAM Momories or Wifi Card if you see what kind of PC I talk, it is the first time I use Clonezilla with this type of computer.

The internal hard drive appears well in the BIOS.
I don't know how to force the internal hard drive to appear in Clonezilla

Well, you'd better to tell us the version number you have downloaded. We normally release a newer testing Clonezilla live a week, and it might come with newer Linux kernel so your hardware might be supported better.
So please give 2.6.5-21 or 20200302-focal a try:

Hi, I'm facing the same problem.
I'm using the 20200302-eoan (branch : alternative) version and I can't find a solution to fix this.
When I'm using the command prompt (ls /dev/sd), my sda is detected but not when I'm trying to clone my disk.

    Thanks for your support

    It's it mounted? Please run:
    1. sudo -i
    2. cat /proc/partitions
    3. df -ah
    4. mount
    5. blkid
Please post the results of 2-5. Thanks.

    Thanks for this quick answer,

I don't exactly know what is the meaning of a mounted device.
I put all my results in attachments.

Please give Clonezilla live 2.6.6-8 or 20200331-focal a try. They come with newer Linux kernel so your hardware might be supported better.
