    Hi,

I'm tryng to clone two identical machines using Clonezilla Live, latest version. During the process of cloning it fails to clone the second partition /dev/sda2 and shows only this error message: "The Image version NOT support. The image version is ."

Google did not help to debug this problem, nor the error message itself. Could any of the developers or advanced users give us a hint on how to properly debug this error?

    best regards,

Which version of Clonezilla live did you use? Did you try Clonezilla live 2.5.2-31?

//NOTE// Backup important data before you use Clonezilla live. Just in case.

I can confirm this is an issue in 2.5.2-31. It seems to happen more with LVM than with regular partitions. I just tried and the root volume failed but a data volume in the same volume group that followed worked fine. Here's my clonezilla.log

Thanks. So does this issue exist in Clonezilla live >= 2.5.5-23?

I created an image of my disc /dev/sdc with "clonezilla-live-2.5.2-31-amd64.zip" (USB stick). Trying to restore this to /dev/sda on another machine with "clonezilla-live-2.5.2-31-amd64.iso" failed with the error message: "The Image version NOT support. The image version is .".
In my case, it helped to use the current testing version "clonezilla-live-2.5.5-38-amd64.iso" for restoring from image to disc. Although I am still using the image file created with 2.5.2-31.
With version 2.5.5-38 version, I do not get this error any more. (Restore still running, but looks good so far.) :)
