Does anyone know an answer on why an image of ESXi looses it's datastore mount when loading back from the original image?

The reference codes we used for Partclone are from:
https://github.com/glandium/vmfs-tools
It's out-of-dated. Lacks some features. I believe that's why. It might be OK for VMFS3 and VMFS5.
Which version of VMFS did you use? VMFS6?
