Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I really cannot get a working set of clones. Use case is I need a Windows 10 and Windows 11 clone for software testing. So I've done the following:

    Installed Windows 11
    Cloned the drive
    Installed Windows 10
    Cloned the drive
    Attempted to restore Windows 11
    Failed

I did the same yesterday too, attempting to restore a Windows 10 clone, also failed. That time I was able to restore a Windows 11 clone however. I'm extremely confused...

I didn't switch disks, no. I decided in the end that I'd spent too long trying to get a Windows 10 and Windows 11 clone to play nicely together, so I gave up. I suspect it'll be OK if I get another SSD and dual boot, with one clone for each, separate from each other. The problem with partition clones (which I also tried) is Windows installer modifies partition sizes, making the disk smaller, so that didn't work well either.
