I'm having this issue when restoring a clonzilla image (Windows server 2016).
I can restore the image without any problems. However, Windows won't boot.
I noticed that at the end of the image recovery, it shows "EFI system partition was NOT found on this hard drive: /dev/sda".
The image backup has two disk partions sda and sdb (I could be wrong, not quite sure what sda and sdb are).
sdb seems to have all booting data. When clonezilla restores the image it just restores sda.
I have restored another image from another computer (same hardware) and it works! The only different between the two is that the second image has the booting data in sda.
I have also renamed all sda files to sdb in the image backup (image that does not work), and it try to boot windows but then shows that there are some errors and windows server needs to be reinstalled.
Do you know if there is a way to fix the problem I'm facing?
Thanks,
Juan

Issue fixed. One of my colleagues figured it out that the image we had was for two disks. So, he added another disk to the server and restore image. This worked beautifully.

Cool. It's nice to know you have solved that.
