I can't deploy an image of a Dell Latitude 3400. The 2 PCs tested do not restart after deployment, they lock onto the Dell logo. Unable to access the BIOS or boot menu.
The version of Clonezilla used : 2.6.2-15
The deployed image is a Xubuntu 18.04 in UEFI with an M2 disk in AHCI. I clone the entire disk.
Since the PCs are under warranty, I contacted Dell support, which found no other options than to change the motherboard.
Has anyone had the same problem ? I haven't seen this with Clonezilla in the many years I've been using it.
These PCs have a new graphic bios. Maybe it's related?
Thanks a lot,
Joël

We used to have such an issue for Dell BIOS before Clonezilla live < 2.6.1-25: https://sourceforge.net/p/clonezilla/news/
However, it was fixed in Clonezilla live >= 2.6.1-25. Not sure if there is any regression again. Is that possible you can ask Dell to reproduce this issue since they are able to fix this BIOS issue.
If the culprit is from Clonezilla, we will do our best to fix it.

BTW, if Dell agrees to test Clonezilla live, please also ask them to test the latest Clonezilla live, e.g., 2.6.4-10: https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php

Thank you for your answer.
I have relaunched Dell support on this subject. I await their answer.
