I have a clone of a 2 tb disk I need to restore to a smaller disk. The tool won't allow this so I shrunk the (windows) C partition to 256gb. I used savepart instead of savedisk and selected 3 partitions (C, system, and healthy?). When I restore all 3 parts to a new drive, windows won't boot bc it can't access system files. I've tried saying yes and no to move root to new mbr (I can't remember the exact prompt). Can I use savepart to clone boot drive? Or another way to be able to restore to a smaller drive?
Thank you

Whole disk saving and restoring will be better for you, because it will cover the booting mechanism.
