  • Danial Rikhtehgaran

i have two 3TB hdd they are raid with software raid on Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS 64bit and my partition is (out put of df -h) as you can see mounted from /dev/mdX

    Also in cfdisk i have:

    And in /dev/sd*

    In fstab:

but when i go to clonezilla for backup it shows me this:

and when i should select some partition to back then shows me:

My question is: doesn't broke anything if i create image backup from sda2 to sda3 forexample ? i mean sda is raid with sda2 but in clonezilla doesn't reconize them and show all partitions of two hard drive and i change something on hard drive A without mirror or write anything on hard drive B so doesn't break anything ? when write on a hard driveA (that raid with hard drive B) when i back to my ubuntu?

Could you please give testing Clonezilla live >= 2.4.9-7 or 20161010-* a try?
It has enabled the support for software/fake RAID.
//NOTE// Backup important data before you use Clonezilla. Just in case.
