I have a Win10 laptop with a small C: SSD. I want to upgrade it to a bigger one. But I can't use the laptop keyboard (Japanese!) or screen (too small for my bad eyes) easily, so I want to do the copy on my desktop.
I am hoping to do the following:
1) buy a USB M.2 adapter cable, and hook it to my desktop.
2) attach the small SSD to the cable, and copy it to an image FILE (not disk or partition) on a local disk in the desktop.
3) then switch the cable to the big SSD, and now copy the FILE on the local disk to the big SSD.
4) put the big SSD into the laptop and have it work.
Is there a version of clonezilla that I can simply download and run as an app to do this, without making special boot media, then rebooting, etc. etc.?
