I was given a Chromebook as a gift but I don't like it and want to know how I can overwrite the partition using Clonezilla with a Windows 10 partition image I already have. What kind of problems will I have? Is it worth trying?

Are you sure Windows 10 can run on that Chromebook?
If so, and the machine is x86 compatible, and it's very likely Clonezilla will work for you.
However, Clonezilla just clones the system for you, and it does not add any Windows drivers for you. So your system might not be able to boot if it lacks drivers...
