I'm running Mint with standard partitioning (both primary and extended partitions - so I have room to add another operating system). I want to add Qubes-OS but when I install it I cannot access Mint although it's still there. I have a Clonezilla image of the entire disk, so I'm able to restore Mint.
Question: Any way to add my Mint image to the SSD after Qubes-OS is installed by itself on the drive? I realize I could probably install Mint again and have Grub take over the boot. Rather not do that since Mint is my daily driver and I really like it as is. ALSO: I'm not exactly sure if I actually do that, will Grub find Qubes-OS during an 'apt update-grub' command and add it to the boot menu.

Okay, I solved my problem. It's not a Clonezilla issue but I thought I might be able to use Clonezilla to save partitions and then move them around etc. So, here's the issue: Installing Qubes-OS as a dual-boot with Linux Mint already installed. Qubes-OS takes over the boot sector and when powering up, I can only start up Qubes-OS. So, in order to get my Mint OS working again, I used Super Grub Disk. It's a program I have on a thumb drive. So, I got my Mint OS up and running with it and then in a terminal issued this: sudo grub-install /dev/sda and then sudo update-grub. On reboot, I have a grub menu now where the choices are Linux Mint 20.04 and Qubes-OS. Cool! Closing this.....

I am not familiar with Qubes-OS. However, it looks like it's Fedora based Linux system? If so, it might use grub, too?
