Clonezilla stable - 3.1.2-22 restore hangs at "clean filesystem header"

I need to move to this version due to a older version unreliably cloning to a SMB share with error:
"No space on the device or permissions issue"

Version 3.1.2-22 resolves that issue.

Now when I try to restore the image using version 3.1.2-22 it hangs at "clean filesystem header" on one of the partition restores.

If I use an older version to restore the image created from version 3.1.2-22 it works.

Having to use two different version to create and restore isn't ideal :-)

Not sure what's happened there.
However, is this issue reproducible in Clonezilla live >= 3.1.3-7 or 20240609-*?

3.1.3-7 hangs at "clean file system header" when restoring a 3.1.2.22 clone.

Version clonezilla-live-3.0.3-22 restores the clone fine.

All versions tested are i686.
