    Why you need this?
Clonezilla can not do online copying, so unless you want to image an unmounted partition or disk…
If you really want to do this, you can check this:
    http://drbl.sourceforge.net/one4all/
Before step 3, it will install all the required programs. i.e. you can skip the step 3 and 4.

Thanks, but this doesn't help, because I need no remote stuff.
    1. I want to use CloneZilla without to reboot my system to immediately work on _unmounted_ partitions e.g. via USB
    2. I don't want to have several media for each cool tool, just one USB-Stick with Ubuntu, Clonzilla etc…

@cosoco in reply to no. 1.: I don't know if I understand you correctly, but if you booted your standard distro, that one becomes your running system which you can't really unmount to back it up via cloenzilla since you're using it. So I think you definitely have to perform a reboot.

concerning .no 2.: have you tried pendrivelinux yet?
      http://www.pendrivelinux.com/boot-multiple-iso-from-usb-multiboot-usb/
It requires a windows-installer for creating a multi-bootable usb, but the devs are working on a linux version as well.

    regards,
    Hendrik

    1. I don't want to clone the running root partition, but others, which can be unmounted.
    2. multi-boot doesn't help, as then I wouldn't have a full Ubuntu running. I want to have a USB-Ubuntu, from where I can run CloneZilla, on flash-drive or normal HD.

BTW: the underlying Linux from the CloneZilla CD doesn't work properly on my system, but e.g. the one from SystemRescueCd works fine without overheating my CPU, see: https://sourceforge.net/projects/clonezilla/forums/forum/663168/topic/3903931
Unfortunately, SystemRescueCd has no CloneZilla on board.

    Regards,
    Ulf

As I mentioned, if you want to install all the Clonezilla related files on your system, you can
    check this: http://drbl.sourceforge.net/one4all/
Before step 3, it will install all the required programs. i.e. you can skip the step 3 and 4.
