I am trying to clone the drive from a Dell 5330 but it is hanging at mounting /proc filesystem.
I am able to get to that point but it will not get past it.
I have the latest bios on the machine (at this time it is 1.12.0)
The machine has no network port on it so I have tried a Dell 96np5 (usb-c/Thunderbolt to ethernet) adapter and a Anker USB to Ethernet adapter.
Bios storage is set to AHCI/NVMe
Storage interface is using M.2 PCIe SSD (So in image capture I am using nvme0n1 )
I have tried it with secure boot on and off with no difference
Secure boot mode is in audit mode
Clonezilla is already the newest version (5.4.6-drbl1) on Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS
Any ideas for me to try?
I am not seeing how to find the logs or even if it is logging. I kept it on over night and it did not give a time out message.
So I now I am seeing that the dell 5530 is doing the same thing. I will hang when it is trying to activate the USB-C Network card. This was working in the older version of clonezilla server.
I am not seeing much information on this but is there something I can edit like "/opt/drbl/sbin/mknic-nbi -modules "tg3"" to enable USB NIC support?
