    Check Network Configuration:

Verify that the network configuration (IP settings, subnet mask, gateway) is correct.
Ensure that the network cable is properly connected.
Check if there are any special network configurations or settings required for the AMD A8 notebook.
    Driver Issues:

Confirm that the necessary network drivers are available for the network cards in the AMD A8 notebook. It's possible that there may be compatibility issues or missing drivers.
Check for updated network drivers for the specific network cards in the AMD A8 notebook.
    Update DRBL/Clonezilla:

Ensure that you are using the latest version of DRBL/Clonezilla. Newer versions may have bug fixes and better compatibility with different hardware.
    Kernel Parameters:

Experiment with different kernel parameters during the boot process. You can modify the GRUB configuration to add or modify kernel parameters. This might involve adding parameters related to network drivers or compatibility.
    Hardware Compatibility:

Verify if there are any known compatibility issues with the specific AMD A8 CPU or the network cards in use. Check the DRBL/Clonezilla documentation and community forums for any reported issues or solutions.
    Alternative Network Boot Options:

If the issue persists, consider alternative network boot options. For example, you might try using a different network boot method or different PXE boot software.
    Logs and Error Messages:

Check system logs and error messages during the boot process. This can provide valuable information about where the boot process is getting stuck.
    Community Support:

Seek assistance from the DRBL/Clonezilla community forums or support channels. Other users may have encountered similar issues and could provide insights or solutions.
    HP BIOS/UEFI Settings:

Ensure that the BIOS/UEFI settings on the HP 745 G4 notebook are configured appropriately for network booting. Check for any specific settings related to PXE boot or network boot.
Remember to make backups or snapshots before making significant changes to the system configuration. If the issue persists, providing more detailed error messages or logs would be helpful for further diagnosis.

was this issue due to driver or compatibility problems with the AMD A8 CPU or Broadcom?
