I have the same problem.
The livecd presents the option to restart-shutdown etc. only after finishing the clonening.
This option has to be entered before the clonening at my opinion (so you can leave your system).
The way it is now, you have to wait for the end of the clonening proccess for shutting down your system.
The same request from me too. :-)
Can this feature reimplemented?

"missing the option to select what the computer should do after finishing the backup" -> What did you mean?
Could you please describe more? The new feature should be backward compatible...
Thanks.
Steven.

In older versions you could select 'restart' or 'shutdown' before starting the backup.
As a backup on my computer takes about 3 hours with checking the image, you could start the backup with the option shutdown and I mustn't remain at home to shutdwon the computer after finishing the backup. Without this option the computer is active until I come back. That's unnecessary.
Hope this is more clear. My Englsih isn't so good.

Hi,
in the current version of clonezilla I'm missing the option to select what the computer should do after finishing the backup (restart, shutdown ...).
Could that be implemented again?
Thanks

A answer from a developer would be nice.

Is this problem on Clonezilla live or Clonezilla SE?
I do not remember you can choose this for Clonezilla live...
Steven.
It's Clonezilla live.
The picture (dialog.jpg) is from clonezilla-live-1.2.12-67-amd64.
Same in clonezilla-live-2.0.1-15-amd64.
