I currently have a dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu system. I'm planning to install fedora next to these two on a new drive. The Windows partition needs to be cloned because it has a rather intricate set up that I spent a few years getting right. I would rather not have to reinstall from scratch!
So far I've tried cloning this drive then installing fedora (fedora refuse to install), cloning only the windows partitions and installing fedora(Windows partitions won't boot).
I'm now thinking of cloning Ubuntu and Windows partitions after installing fedora. However i can't find the option to clone to just pay of a drive that already has data on it.
Any ideas?
Mike

//NOTE// Backup important data before you use Clonezilla. Just in case.
BTW, it's recommended to take an image for the whole disk. It will cover all.
