Hello,
I am making a backup copy on a server. Windows 10 PRO installed. Two SATA SSD drives that work in RAID 1. The drives are exactly the same.
I noticed that one of the drives, when creating a clonezil backup, does it in 4-6 hours, while the other takes 35 minutes.
Sometimes I get the error "error the backupt GPT table is corrupt, but the primary appers ok, so that will be used" and the computer turns off. The second or third time, I manage to make a copy.
I always make a copy on the same HHD drive.
SSD drives have a capacity of 480 GB, while HDD has a capacity of 2 TB.
I tried making a copy on another computer, on different cables, and the speed of copying the drives is the same.
I also noticed that the drives differ when it comes to their recording - screen. And they were started at the same time.
What could be the problem?
I checked HP diagnostic, and it shows that the disks are working.
I make a copy once a week, and periodically check if it was actually made - I start the computer with only the HDD disk - it always works. I don't know if the 4-6 hour SSD copy works, because looking at how long it will take, I give up and choose a faster 35 minute SSD disk.
I'm not an expert in this field. How can I verify the cause of the problem? I was thinking about replacing the SSD, because I think these are of low quality. They work in the server 24/7.
The prompt is tell you there are some space on the disk which your partition table does not cover all.
You can try to use GParted live (https://gparted.org) to resize/expand the partition(s).

Thank you Steven !
How much space do I need to leave unallocated ?
Jack
Just use all of them I suggest.
//NOTE// Backup important data before you use GParted/Clonezilla live. Just in case.
