Conezilla hangs after opening screen

Hi - hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I have Clonezilla 3.1.2.9 and a Dell Optiplex 3020.

Closezilla boots up from a CD-ROM and gets as far as the opening screen where you select the resolution and such. Once I get past this screen, it hangs on a black screen and goes no further.

Is there anything I can do to get past this and make Clonezilla work again?

try using a usb pendrive! maeby the CD-ROM has something wrong!
