When I boot the latest clonezilla live 1.0.10-8 I don't see eth0 listed under ifconfig. It is listed as an Intel Corporation 82801ba/bam/ca/cam Ethernet Controller in lspci. Said card is detected and works using SystemRescueCD1.0.0.

I tried browsing the module-assistant for the e100 driver I believe it uses, but it said that that module was already loaded.

Why isn't the card isn't auto detected? Does anyone know how to make it work?

You can try to use Clonezilla live 1.0.11-5 in testing branch or the one 20060415-hardy in experimental branch. Both of them come with kernel 2.6.24, so maybe it will work for your network card.
