This is for EFI systems. I've been searching through the source code to find where BCD modifications are handled, but I'm having trouble. If somebody knows where or how this is done, it would be of great help to me.
My goal is to figure out how the BCD changes in an EFI system based on what Windows OSes are available. And how it changes between different hard drives that have the same Windows OS on the same partition number.
Thanks!

What did you mean by "where BCD modifications are handled"? When Clonezilla restoring or cloning a MS Windows uEFI system, it just restores or clones the EFI boot partition. That's all. Nothing has to be modified in the EFI boot partition. It's different from that of legacy BIOS "MBR" way.
Or did I miss something?
Thanks.
Steven.
