Ok, so my hard disk is about to fail and I want to clone it to a new HDD.
I was told I should make a recovery CD/USB first.
The instructions on the Clonezilla website say: first, save an image of the disk on a USB, and then, create an Autorun Clonezilla Recovery Live USB (ACRLU).
I completely understand the process and how it is to be done...
My question is, my laptop came with a recovery partition when I bought it (note: I have updated it from Windows 8 to 10 since I bought it), should I just save an image of the recovery partition (by selecting "saveparts" at the image creation stage) and then create an ACRLU?
Would this be enough for a Clonezilla recovery disk??
Or should I follow the instructions exactly and select "savedisk" and then create ACRLU???

It's recommended to use "savedisk" to save the whole disk if you have enough disk space as the image repository to save the whole disk as image.
Steven.
Thanks steven, guess I am gonna go cloning without a recovery image fingers crossed..
