Current just trying to get Clonezilla to boot up in order to do anything. Using a bootable USB key-- I get as far as the menu where I can select the graphical options/failsafe/MEMTest, etc., but when I select an option the computer reboots and goes right back to the same menu. I've made a video showing an example, I've tried it with both legacy BIOS and UEFI mode to the same effect.

I've tried it with two identical computers (hardware wise), a Lenovo m93p with an i5 processor, SSD and 8 GB of RAM. More details on the hardware can be provided if it is critical. I tried 2 computers because one would have been the source (already has Win7 Pro loaded) and one would've been the target, both are having the same issue. Here's a small video clip of what I'm experiencing, if it helps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfFcghBoQ-M

    Try
    alternative stable releases - 20140415-saucy
    or
    alternative testing releases - 20140428-trusty
and also choose the "KMS" mode in the boot menu.
    It might help.

    Steven.

I’m having this same issue today. I wanted to restore a Clonzilla image but I can’t seem to get the CD to boot. It is a couple of years old. I get error EDD: Error 8000 reading in sector 32. I’ve tried burning ISO images from the latest Clonezilla release and going back a few years. I either get that error or the CD just restarts its boot countdown over and over. Does anyone have any ideas? I’ve downloaded from clonezilla.org and sourceforge.com
