    Using Clonezilla Live 2.4.2-61 -amd64
I have two identical Dell AMD machines (a few years old) running Win7. I used Clonezilla to create an image of the hard drive on each one of them.
On the first one, Clonezilla started up and ran fine without any error messages at all.

But, on the second machine, as Clonezilla booted up from the CD, I got a strange series of error messages similar to the following:

    blk-update-request: I/O error dev SR0 sector 365144
Buffer I/O error on dev, sr0 logical

There were a number of the above errors, plus a few others similar to:

    No caching mode page found
    overlayfs: missing 'workdir'

The thing is, after the above error messages finished displaying, Clonezilla continued on as normal (the next prompt was the normal keymap prompt), and I proceeded to use it (in Beginner Mode as I always do) to create an image of the machine. It appeared to work correctly and successfully created the image.

Do I have anything to worry about? Since Clonezilla ran fine after those initial error messages, can I rest assured that I did in fact get a good image? Or should I be concerned about those messages in some way having negatively affected the images that Clonezilla creates from this machine?

Thanks in advance for any advice or input anyone can give me on this matter.

" I/O error dev SR0 sector 365144 Buffer I/O error on dev, sr0 logical" -> Normally this is hardware issue, especially for your CD or CD-ROM.

    Steven.
