Hello. I was told that this is an excelent product to clone hdd's using a network. I've founded this only way to get help about this product. What I need is to install about 20 to 40 machines (same instalation on each lab diferetn between) in about 4 labs in a school. I don't know how to do it. I have the latest version of Clonezilla burned in a CD and all the machines have WinXP. I have none experience using Linux or other systems (I have 1 day experience in Ubuntu, but only to see for now). What I really need is instructions to clone a hdd into the other machines using the network, how to create the image, and restore later; where to save the image if I have nothing but WinXP Pro machines.
Sorry if I asked much but will be helpfull. I take 5 days to install a lab and will be a lot of time saving.
Best wishes

OOps... Something went wrong with the "monitor this forum" function in my sf account. I did not get any notification about this. Sorry for the late response.
About your question, you should not use "clonezilla live" to do multicast, you should use "DRBL: clonezilla server edition" to do that. Check this url for more details: http://drbl.sourceforge.net/

I belive zenwork 7 would be easier you don't need to install any softwar or creat any servers. Note you will need DCHP server to hand out ip address.
link to zenwork bootcd:
http://www.zenimaging.info/downloads/zenworks/2.6.18.3/bootcd-121106-v1.iso
if this bootcd can not detect network try this one.
http://www.zenimaging.info/downloads/zenworks/2.6.18.6/pxefiles-20207-v1.zip
Instructon for Zenwork 7:
1- boot to cd
2- select MANUAL
3- after software is finished loading, type IMG.
4- hit the F7 key.
if you have and question please let me know.
