I'm a Noob at Clonezilla. I'm a trainee at a small Computer Services business. I'm trying to create a repository filled with multiple images. These images are to be used for a restore ion case of a customer has a Hard Drive corruption or failure. I tried to restore Images but the OS wouldn't boot. Can someone give me the steps to create a image that will boot after restored on a new drive. I've tried and have been frustrated and unsuccessful. Thanks.

  When I successfully created an image then restored the image, no errors. When I booted my system had a blinking cursor and hung that way.
  This was my experience.

    Which version of clonezilla live did you use ?
    1.2.1-39 has some improvement about this, make sure you use that or newer one.

      I used 1.2.1-39. Is there a newer one that will work?

        1.2.1-39 should be OK, at least this moment.
        Did you turn on "-e auto" option when restoring ?
        If not, turn it on (default it's on).
