Apparently I've missed something. Trying to clone one laptop drive to another (spin disk to a new SSD) of the same capacity. Source disk has 4 partitions (XP, EXT4,SWAP, HP). Seems all the copy works just fine - it's all there. But the booloader - GRUB 2 (Fedora 17) - is borked. When I attempt to boot the SSD, instead of the usual GRUB menu, I get the 'minimal function grub command line' thing. I believe I can do a GRUB re-install from a Fedora live CD - but I'd rather learn how to do this right.
What'd I miss? Or is GRUB 2 "too new" for the latest release version (as of yesterday, 29July) of Clonezilla? Would one of the development versions handle it better?
Thanks!

Which version of Clonezilla live did you use?
