i used clonezilla to back up my hard drive on my laptop to install a larger one. After I installed the new harddrive, when I plugged my USB live disc in and tried to boot from it to restore my image, I get the message: "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"
I have no idea what to do, and I need my laptop for classes on Monday. Any ideas?
Thank you

We can do this. Tell me how you did your backup and what you used as your clonezilla boot method. Did you use an external hard drive as your /home/partimag/? If so, did you then create a recovery iso? If you did, then you have two copies of your drive in existence. What you need to do is find your backup source. If you have the capability, I would put your old HD back in and look around. If you can find the image folder you created, leave the old drive in and rerun clonezilla and create a new recovery iso and then burn to CD, assuming you have the capability. Just give me a bit more info and we can sort it out.
good luck
